I was unfortunate not to have known Fred for too long, but even over that short time he was someone who made the lives of those he knew brighter, funnier, and happier, including my own. A loving father, grandfather, and friend. Thank you for being as special as you were to all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with you x

My grandfather was a man who had the remarkable ability to make everyone laugh, no matter the situation. His sense of humour was contagious, always lightening up even the toughest of days with his clever jokes and playful banter. But beyond the jokes, he was the most supportive person anyone could ask for—always there with a listening ear and words of encouragement. He had an incredible way of making you feel like you could take on anything, and his love and guidance will stay with us forever.

Fred was a great friend as well as a great golfer. We enjoyed many rounds in Naples, Florida . He was a good reader of the game and an equally good teacher. He had many friends there and was highly respected. My thoughts and love are with Jayne, Andrew and Jade at this sad time. Margaret

Fred was a lovely gent—gentle, kind, and always welcoming. I have so many fond memories at the Carine household over the years, and he was such a big part of that. Thinking of you all during this time 🩷xxxxxx
