Rachel JeanBOWENSadly on Friday 17 December 2021, at Cwm Gwendraeth Nursing Care Home after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Rachel Jean (Jean B), Hafan Glyd, Bronwydd. Beloved wife of Eirwyn, cherished mother of Rhian, loving mother in law of Steve and a cherished Grandmother of Sioned, Iwan & Ella. Private funeral service on Friday, December 31st 2021 at Parc Gwyn, Narberth at 1:45pm. No flowers, but donations if so desired to Alzheimer's Research UK, kindly received by Mr Dorian Harries of G Harries & Sons, Funeral Directors, Maesybwlch, Pencader, Carmarthenshire, SA39 9BY Tel: 01559 384386

Anti Jean. Braint ac anrhydedd oedd eich hadnabod. Roeddech wastad mor garedig a chroesawgar i ni fel teulu. Bydde siwrne lawr i weld mamgu a dadcu yn Esgair, Llanpumsaint ddim yn gyflawn heb ymweliad gyda chi yn Rhydargaeau ar y ffordd gytre. Ac am groeso. Roedd ganddo chi’r wên mwyaf hyfryd, gwên oedd gyda’r gallu i oleuo unrhyw ystafell.

Jean thank you for everything you did for everyone. You had a big heart. I have missed seeing you, spending time on the touch line watching Iwan’s talents grow also seeing you beam with pride with Sioned and Ella taking part in the Eisteddfod. Having the best trifle in your amazing get togethers. Chats and Cups of tea. Jean you have been taken twice from your family and friends with the cruel illness. You have battled for many years.
