Dearest Lou,
I’ve been thinking about you so much and I wanted to reach out. I know losing a son is a pain no one else can truly step into and I won’t pretend to understand what this is like for you. Your grief is yours and I won’t even try to shape it or soften it. I just want you to know you’re not carrying this alone.

I know there’s nothing I can say that could ever touch the depth of what you’re feeling. No one can truly step into the grief of losing a son, and I won’t pretend to understand the weight you’re carrying.

What I do know is how deeply Kai was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a gentle way of touching people’s lives, of inspiring anyone who crossed his path. That kind of light doesn’t disappear, even when the world feels unbearably dark.

Although the sun may have slipped behind heavy clouds, please hold onto this, that his memory lives on in the love you shared, in the stories that will always be told and in the tears that fall because he mattered so profoundly.

I’m here for you, quietly and steadily, in whatever way you need. Godbless & biggest of hugs for you & your lovely family xx Hx
