LynnBLANT (NEE FODEN)of Grange Road, Rawtenstall, passed away at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on February 28, aged 85 years.
Lynn started her working career at King’s Pictures at Waterfoot and The Queens Hotel, Rawtenstall. She was a bus conductor, where she met her late husband Bert and then worked in various mills and was a cleaner for the council and prior to retirement, Lynn was a dinner lady at St Peter’s and a carer. Lynn enjoyed cross words and quiz shows, as well as visiting her late son Lee and spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late Dora Cropper and Billy Foden, wife of the late Bert, mum of the late Lee. Lynn leaves behind her daughter Toni and son Paul, sisters Shirley, Ruby and late sister of Sonia, Sheila and Richard. Nephew and nieces and extended family in Canada.
A service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, with prayers at the Chapel of Rest at 1.30pm followed by a service at Accrington Crematorium at 2.20pm.
