The obituary notice of Daniel Edward Ronald BIRDSEY

I’m dreading Wednesday Daniel. Daddy needs to be passed for his chemotherapy, because the longer he waits the more the cancer is growing into his other organs. Then it’ll be stage 4 and like you nothing really can be done. It’s already in his lymph nodes which is what I really didn’t want to happen. He doesn’t know that though because I haven’t told him. I really don’t think the chemotherapy is going to work though. It might extend his life by a little but he said he doesn’t want that. He’s actually eating really well, but the weight is falling off him. A few months ago he was 11 stone 4. Now he’s 8 stone 7. Just like with you I wake up and hope it was a dream. Then I look at him and realise it’s actually a living nightmare 🥹

I thought daddy’s hallucinations had stopped Daniel because he had finished the steroids.But Cory just walked in the kitchen and he was talking to somebody in the corner.He then told me there was a man there,but he disappeared when Cory turned the light on.Because he’s struggling to breathe with the cancer I’m sure he’s not getting enough oxygen to his brain which is making that happen.Still no improvement 🥹

Daddy’s on all these tablets to get him stronger and he’s going backwards Daniel.The only difference is he’s on anti sickness tablets so he’s not being sick anymore,and the steroids are making him eat at last.But they run out next Tuesday and the doctor told him he has to then start eating by himself.But I’m dreading it because I know that’s not going to happen.He’s got an appointment for March 11th just to see if he’s stronger than he was last week.And he’s so much worse.Can’t breath walking a few feet,starting to walk around with his eyes half shut again.And he doesn’t sleep at all,like I mean never he’s awake for days.The doctor will only offer a chemotherapy date if he’s improved.So that’s definitely not going to happen Daniel.Just reminds me of your last month with me.Absolute torture 🥹🥹
