So close…my fathers sister…but I wish I had known you better
My childhood memories are of a glamorous, funny and warm person
Today you would be so proud of your precious daughter Sarah, she spoke about you with passion, tenderness and strength. She helped carry your coffin…in heels 😊. Goodnight & Godbless Aunty Dorothy ❤️

Sorry for your great loss Sarah and family. You all loved Dot and looked after her so well in her last days.

You are a great loss to many people Dot, particularly your loving family you were so proud of and talked about often.

I feel the sad loss of your friendship very much. Working with you was a joy. Your kind, caring, considerate ways and warmth, with a fantastic sense of humour.

You and Roy were a loving couple and a wonderful team. I have many happy memories of our times together.

Miss you and love you always

My auntie Dott … an equal to her husband (Uncle Roy) in so many ways … both sharing a dry sense of humour. I’m ever so aware of her being a good mum to my cousin (Sarah) … and although I can’t claim to have shared the same family intimacy as that others can … I will genuinely miss her as a person. Her penchant for M&S merchandise was truly legendary x
