It is with great sadness the family of the late Ann O'Brien have asked us to announce her passing.

Ann was a devoted mum to her four children Sandra, Donna, Terry and Alex. A grandmother and great grandmother who built her life around family, love and togetherness. She met her childhood sweetheart Terry in The Grafton where their beautiful love story began.

Ann adored her makeup, loved holidays with her family and took great pride in her immaculate home.

For 22 years she lived with her daughter Sandra where the family gathered often and their home became the heart of every celebration.

She leaves behind her broken hearted husband Terry, their children, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren who will forever cherish her warmth kindness and gentle spirit. Reunited with her son Alex, who sadly passed away.

Ann's final farewell journey will take place Friday 21st November 2025 for 12pm at St Teresa's Church, Sedgmoor Road L11 3BW followed by a committal for 1:20pm at Anfield Crematorium, 238 Priory Road L4 2SL.

The family have asked for family flowers only please, but donations in Ann's memory can be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia UK.

Ann is currently resting at Butterflies Rising Funeral Care, 37-39 Mill Lane L12 7HY.

My Grandma how lucky was I to have had a Grandmar like you. So beautiful, loved to dance, loved to smile, loved going out with grandad and a glass of wine. I will miss sitting with you at your table, miss the smile you gave when I asked for one, miss you asking what makeup I had on and me giving it to you, miss you listening to me and not giving an opinion. My whole life has been mum dad Grandmar grandad, how will I write my lists with your name gone! It was just over the lawn and into yours your home which was my favourite place all the best family memories were made there. I love you so much it breaks my heart that you’re gone. I wish I could have had you forever. My girls were so lucky to have known you and loved you like I do. Rest now with your baby Alex my lovely uncle! You simply was the best and I will miss you forever. Your Grandaughter Emma, Brian, Luella Indelilah and boys x x
