It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Mark left this world on January 14, 2026, at the Royal Derby Hospital, with family by his side, just shy of his 58th birthday.
Born on February 3, 1968, in Chaddesden, Derby, Mark's journey through life was marked by love, a crazy sense of humour and fun, and a passion for music that resonated (sometimes quite literally!) with everyone he met.
Mark's life will be celebrated on February 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Trent Valley Crematorium. Friends, family, and all who knew Mark are invited to join in honouring his memory. Dress code is 'open'.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed online, allowing everyone to participate in remembering him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holiday of a Lifetime, an ROAB initiative dedicated to benefiting disadvantaged children. This cause was dear to Mark's heart, providing joy and everlasting memories to children who need it most.
Though Mark's time with us was far too brief, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love, music, laughter and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Mark; you will be profoundly missed and always remembered xxx
