The obituary notice of Andrew Lovat FRASER

We were so very sad to hear of Andrew’s unexpected passing. He was the very best neighbour anyone could wish for over the past 16 years — kind, friendly, full of plans, and always ready for a chat. We shared so many lovely conversations over the years, especially about his love of wildlife and nature, which we will remember very fondly.

Andrew will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with Emma and all the family at this difficult time.

We were very lucky to have known such a lovely, kind and gentle man. As soon as we met him, Andrew quickly became part of our family - he slotted in quite naturally and joined in all the fun stuff (a pumpkin carving competition, Secret Santa etc). He was generous and genial, and always up for a laugh - helpfully hoovering up any spare desserts or cakes, and always with a quirky pair of socks on!

He leaves a big gap in our lives and we will miss him very much. Rest in peace.
