Jo started out as a much valued and hard working colleague during our years together in the Jersey Probation Service. However, she soon became a very loyal and incredibly close friend too, who showed me nothing but kindness throughout the time we knew each other. She was always far more interested in the well-being of others than she was in her own wants and needs. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than to gather friends and family around her, and to see them happy. If anyone was unwell, she was the first to visit, and make sure they had everything they needed. Jo was one in a million, and my love and prayers go out to all her family at this sad time.
