BettyMCGUIREManus and family wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, Mass cards and messages of sympathy following the sad loss of our beloved wife, mum and gran, Betty. We also wish to thank Father Jeremey both for the administration of the Sacrament of the Sick to Betty during her last hours and also for conducting the reception of Betty into St. Peter's Church. These were truly a source of great comfort to us. Particular thanks to Canon John Agnew, Father Jimmy Smith and Father Paul Lee for concelebrating the Requiem Mass for Betty at St. Peter's Church. We also wish to thank our nieces and cousins Rosalind and Pauline for their musical contributions, making it a very inspiring and personalised service. Many thanks to all of you who attended the Mass and the service at the Livingston Crematorium where ?1000 was raised and donated to Cancer Research in Betty's memory. Special thanks to the nurses and medics both at the Western Infirmary in Edinburgh and at St. John's in Livingston for the care and dignity they gave Betty in her final days. Similarly, we thank Dr. Jean Pringle and the staff at Carmondean Health Centre. We also wish to acknowledge the professionalism, care and dignity of Brodies Funeral Services. Thanks finally to Deer Park Golf Club for their excellent catering services.
