Born on October 6, 1944, she was the beloved wife of the late Derek Burney and mother to Jonathon and Timothy Burney, grandmother to James and Kieran Burney.
A devoted family person with a wide circle of loyal friends, Rosemary worked for the civil service, Northumbrian Water, and the Crown Prosecution Service, leaving a legacy of integrity and compassion. Her warmth, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed.
