PatriciaWHITTAKERpassed away peacefully at her home, on Monday, June 12, with her husband Les by her side. She leaves her husband Leslie having been married for 61 years, three sons Steven, Andrew and Michael, including two daughters in law, Donna and Alicia, five grandchildren Samuel with his wife Gillian, Georgina with husband Alex, Miles, Theola, Issy and also two great-grandchildren, Jack, Oliver and one on the way. Pat worked most of her life as a slipper operative, first at Gaghills, then at Bacup Shoe also at Mullards, and later in life as a dinner lady at St Joseph’s School, Stacksteads. A service at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday, June 29 at 11.30am. No flowers but donations for Dementia UK are welcome. Funeral Celebrant Kathy Unsworth.
