GeorgeTURNERDied at Lindum Care Home on Thursday 25th July aged 88. Dearly beloved husband of the late Ivy and a loving father of Louise and Ian. Special thanks to carers and staff at Lindum for their exceptional care. Funeral service to take place on Monday 19th August at Chanterlands Crematorium, small chapel at 11am followed by burial in Northern Cemetery. Thinking of you Louise and Ian at this sad time.
I had the privilege of being taught music up to A level by your father at Newland High School for girls and what a dedicated and helpful teacher he was.
I'm sure he was a dedicated father too, as I recall him bringing you both to the Junior Philharmonic in days gone by.
You both have my deepest sympathy as I know the pain of losing a parent myself.
Heaven has gained another great angel.
