BruceTOWNSENDBSc. Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers 25 July 1929 - 12 September 2020 Bruce Arnold Townsend, aged 91, has left his full and vital life to join the Carefree Cyclists Club in the sky. Much loved husband of Angela his later life wife. He died Stepfather to Emma and Zoe; Father to Matthew, Adam and Hannah; Grandfather to nine and a Great-Grandfather. His personal attitude to life was summed up by his favourite song – Frank Sinatra’s ‘I did It My Way’. And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friends, I'll say it clear I'll state my case of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I travelled each and every highway But more, much more than this I did it my way …..
