JohnTHORNEOn Wednesday 10th July 2024, John suddenly and very sadly passed away. Beloved lifelong husband of Ann Thorne, loving dad of Jacob and Alice.
Funeral service to be held at 12.00 noon, Friday 2nd August 2024, Trelawny Chapel, Penmount Crematorium.
Family flowers only. Donations on behalf of Cancer Research UK may be made via memorygiving.com or by retiring collection.

A year on and I still struggle to believe you're not here. You were the one I went to for advice and you always had the answers. You are missed by so many of us. I don't think you ever truly realised how much the community loved you. Always in my thoughts. Your blue light family hold you in our hearts so dearly

John Thorne I met you helping the community on a letter drop you drove the police van with a lot of skill and sent us flying in the back. and the last time I saw you was outside a school keeping a reasuring presence within the community I recall I mentioned to you about how I was worried I wouldn't pass my GCSE's and get the grades required to be a police officer to which you reassured me I would be able to. thank you for everything you will be missed
