MollieSTANSFIELDMrs Mollie Stansfield of Greenbrook House, Whitworth, formerly of Bacup, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 19, aged 90 years. A service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Bacup on Tuesday, February 7 at 10.15am followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am, conducted by the Rev Dave Bartram. Born in Bacup where she lived all of her life, Mollie had worked at Rayondale for many years and also at John Maden & Sons Ltd. She was a lifelong member of the former Zion and Mount Olive churches and Union Baptist Church, which later became Trinity Baptist where she taught in the Sunday school. Mollie was also an avid knitter and cross stitcher. She was very happily married to her late husband Alan and after his death in 1996, found great comfort and strength from her own family and the church family. She leaves daughters Jillian and her husband Adrian, Janet and her partner Jimmy, grandchildren Hayley, Martin-James, Luke, Amy, Sam, and Meg. Great-grandchildren Winston, Kingsley, Otis, MollieMargot, Harry, Finnlay and Teddie, sisters Marian and Marjorie, nieces, nephews and many friends. Family flowers only with donations in lieu to Trinity Baptist Church and the British Missionary Society c/o the funeral Director Anthony Johnson Funeral Services Ltd.
