Pearl (Nee Wickwar)SPENCERFormer worker at Corah's and the ABC cinema. Passed away peacefully in Leicester Royal Infirmary on 6th September after a short illness aged 78 years. Reunited with beloved husband Bryan, her parents Len (well known Leicester boxer) and Phyllis Wickwar and her brother Leon. Loving mum to Wayne. When I'm on my own mum, I always think of you. Thoughts about the laughs we shared, And the things we used to do, We had so many happy times together you and I. You can't replace that kind of love, No matter how you try. These words alone cannot convey, What I feel within my heart, But I know someday we'll meet again, And then we'll never part. Pearl's funeral service will take place at Gilroes Crematorium on Friday 22nd October at 2.30pm. Donations may be given on the day payable to The UK Sepsis Trust. Flowers and enquiries to Co-op funeralcare, Birstall. Tel 0116 2671624

It's now 22 Oct 2023.
Two years since my Mum's funeral.
Can't believe it's two years.
It feels like it was just a couple of months ago.

I love you more than ever Mum.
I miss you every minute of every day.
Love you forever xxx

Hello Pearl, I hope you are looking down from your cloud and seeing how your beloved son Wayne has coped since you left. He has had support from friends old and new but I am amazed at how well he has done. You and Bryan must be so proud.

Two days until your funeral Mum. I still find it impossible that any of this is happening. I'll be visiting with you again at the Birstall Co-op Funeralcare home later today. Day 3 of my Funeral Week Vigil for you. You should still be here at home, watching Countdown or Tipping Point or The Chase. I hope I've done well with all the funeral plans. I've tried my very best to make it a special, unique and memorable day, just like you have always been as a person. I think you would like all what I've got planned. Even four white horses with pink plumes. I thought you'd like a pink theme for the funeral as it's your favourite colour. Well only two days to go now. Hard to believe. I love you. You'll always mean the world to me. xxx
