We had great memories working with John, at the Spar Shop in the 1990's with his wife and other staff including Winnie when I was 14 years old. We had great laughs, he was a lovely friendly and joyful man. He would always speak when we bumped into him in Plympton with his lovely wife. He will be greatly missedd.

I am so sorry to hear of this news. I worked for John in the Spar shop back in the 90's when I was 13/14 years old. John and his wife were a lovely couple and he was a lovely happy man, that loved his life. He always had time to say hello, if I bumped him to him at anytime. Rachel. It was great times with Winnie and other staff, he will be sadly missed. xxx
