PeterSCRIMSHAWPeacefully on Saturday 1st August under the excellent care of Norman Hudson Nursing Home, Peter aged 73 years of Holmfirth. Dearly loved husband of Annette, much loved father to Peter, Daniel and the late Simon and treasured Grandad to Connor and Molly. Peter will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. Private family committal to take place on Monday 24th August at Park Wood Crematorium at 12:45pm. Family flowers only, donations are appreciated in Peter's memory to the Alzheimer's Society All enquiries to T W Birks and Son, Woodhead Road, Holmfirth, HD9 2TY 01484 683322

Because of Covid and silly work rules i never got to say goodbye to you my mate. The years we spent walking, drinking, trying to play golf and did I mention the drinking? I hope you and Tony are behaving yourselves but I very much doubt it.

Peter was a great friend from the first day I met him in late 1997 when we moved into The Sycamore Inn. In all the years we played golf, went on many wild and wonderful walks and of course had a few beers over the years we never had cross words. A true friend, will be sadly missed. Until later
