MyrnaRUTTER(Née Pearson ) (Birtley)

Died peacefully on 3rd October 2025. Aged 90 years.

Loving wife of the late Clive Rutter, precious mam to Gary and Tracy, beloved mother-in-law of Carole and Johan and adored gran to Emily, Megan, Daniel and Gabriella.

After a long and happy life Myrna has found her rest. She will be fondly remembered by the community of St John's and Birtley and all her many dear friends as a dedicated helpful and loving supporter of all.

The funeral will take place at St John's Church Birtley on Monday 20th October at 10.00am followed by Birtley Crematorium at 11.00am then afterwards you are welcome to join the family at St John's Church Hall to share memories.

Myrna, you are my first nurturing, lovely memory of nursery and I love you for that. I am privileged to have had you in mine and my children’s lives for all these years. You are definitely one of Gods angels and will never ever be forgotten. You have made such a mark on everyone’s lives and will be sadly missed. Knowing you are back with Clive does give me a smile though. Love you Myrna ❤️

Beautiful lady, inside and out.
Myrna was my Nursery Nurse many moons ago and them became a wonderful family friend.
Will miss you and your stories. You are back where you belong in Clive's arms x
