I was deeply sorry to hear of Cliggers passing, I only heard about it yesterday.
I first met him in 1971 when I had the pleasure of working with him and Terry Charters on a site in Holywell N Wales.
The work was dirty, hard and very hot, welding on roasters at Coutraulds, but we had a great crack both at work and at night too.
My wife and I also met Rita, who introduced us to bubble and squeak after a night in the Pool Dole pub.
Over the years with working on different sites we lost touch, but when I went to see him after Rita passed away, the years just slipped away.
I will always remember him as a friend and more importantly a really good man, R.I.P. Cligger.
