AlbertPILATHformerly of Burwell and Girton passed away peacefully on Thursday 4th October 2018 aged 92 years. Much loved husband of the late Elizabeth and cherished mum of Sylvia, and Margita and the late Stephen. A wonderful grandad to John, Sam, Lee and Christy. Funeral service to be held at Cambridge Crematorium (East Chapel) on 31st October at 1:00 pm. Family flowers only but donations for MENCAP may be left at the service or sent to C. E. Sadly, I heard this news too late. Albert was a true gentleman and friend ...even though he 'warned me off his daughters', repeatedly, during the 60's. ( some years later he quietly informed me that "I wasn't such a bad chap after all".....but too late ! ).
