Alan ThomasPARSONSPassed away peacefully at home on Sunday 4th February 2024 with his loving family by his side, aged 69 years. Devoted husband to Janet, cherished dad to Scott, Kayleigh and Liam, and an adored grandad to his grandchildren. Funeral service to take place at Bretby Crematorium, Cedar Chapel on Tuesday 27th February 2024 at 1.30pm. Donations if desired are invited for Treetops Hospice Care. Alan was one of our lecturers at the University of Derby and he was our favourite by far. Without Alan I doubt I’d have ever understood in layman’s terms any of the physics behind diagnostic radiography. Sadly only learnt tonight of his passing. RIP.
