Peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of John, much loved mum of Philip and Stephen, loving aunty of Julie, treasured Nannan of Rebecca, Marley, Corbin, Farrell, Freya, Symi, Theo and Rohen and a dear sister of the late Christine.

Will friends please meet for service at Christ Church Helme, on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 at 1:30pm to be followed by cremation.

Family flowers only please, but donations would be appreciated for The National Eczema Society which may be left as you leave the service.

I could never forget my second Sunday dinners…. They were delicious.
I remember fondly when Phil and I were in our New Romantic phase… (being fashionistas back in the day) having our hair highlighted in the kitchen at Ash Lea Honley. With those rubber caps and knitting needles.. it was definitely no pain no gain.

So sorry to hear about Eileen.

My resounding memory of her is when I helped to cook Sunday dinner and being amazed how she used her pressure cooker.
