KevinMOUNTKevin Patrick Mount, born in Ormskirk, in 1945 died at his home in Chandler Arizona, USA, July 2025.
Kevin was one of six children born to Mary and Francis Mount, a former employee of the Daily Post Printers. During the war years the family was evacuated to Bradley’s Farm, Maghull. After the war they returned to Waterloo. Kevin attended St Edmunds Waterloo and St Bede’s Secondary Modern, (Sacred Heart) Crosby. There he became a close schoolboy friend of Maurice (Moy) Cole, known later as Kenny Everett. During the early ‘Beatle’s Era) in Liverpool, Kevin was lead guitar in ‘The Earthlings’ band, commemorated with an engraved brick on the cavern walk. In the late 1970’s Kevin emigrated to the USA.
Kevin was married twice, once in Liverpool, and once in the USA. He leaves behind two sons in the USA and a daughter in Liverpool from his first marriage. From his second marriage, he leaves behind two daughters and an adopted daughter. He has many family members in the UK. He will rest at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Arizona. His funeral will be held on Sept 10th 2025. R.I.P.
