Edith MaryMORETONMary passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, 15th June 2025 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 78.
The cherished wife of the late Charles Dennis Moreton, loving mother to Jackie, Michael and Beverley, devoted and much-loved Grandma to Jamie and Emily.
Mary will be lovingly remembered for her kind and caring nature, her love of family, home and the town in which she lived for nearly sixty years – Congleton - after marrying Dennis in 1966. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
The funeral will be held at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph on Monday 21st July 2025 at 1pm.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Mary’s memory. They request that instead of flowers, donations be made to the East Cheshire Hospice, the charity that so ably supported Mary’s husband, prior to his passing in 2024. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
