GiovannaMOLINUIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanna Molinu, aged 82 years of age, who passed away on 11 September 2025 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. A devoted wife to Pietro and a cherished mother to Gianpiero, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her especially from the 30+ years running Zio Piero restaurant in Canton with her husband. Giovanna will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and incredible strength. She was truly a special woman.

A Requiem mass will take place at St Peter's Catholic Church Roath on Wednesday 8 October at 10:00am.

Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired can be made to Velindre University NHS Trust Charity at www.greenwillowfunerals.com.
