Marie worked hard for Fegg Hayes, she was greatly missed when she stood down as Chair, when her husband Roy took ill. She helped many when they were in need. We had some exciting times!! There would have been no play area in Hambro Place, the regeneration in Fegg Hayes Village, without the team, she was Chair of, she was a volunteer for other charity in the City. She was proud of her Irish heritage, and her family. As the ex-councillor we would not have achieved the improvements in Fegg Hayes without Maries commitment. Condolences to Marie family, she was so proud of them, and she is now with her beloved husband Roy. Thank you Marie you and Roy were a good friends. Ann

My dear friend colleague and confidant, Marie will be greatly missed. Her work as Chair of Fegg Hayes Residence' Association benefited many people in the local area. Marie was a no nonsense person that benefited many. Marie is now with her beloved husband Roy, God bless and happy dreams. My love and thoughts go out to family and friends.
