Beloved wife of Doug, treasured mother of Jemma, mother in law of Jack and a much loved grandmother of Noah. Funeral Service in All Saints Parish Church, Rothbury on Wednesday 3rd January at 11.00am, followed by interment in Rothbury Cemetery. All enquiries to William Purves Funeral Directors 01669 631166.

I’m sure Valerie is so missed.
She had some great stories and I loved all our chats.
Valerie was one of the nicest people I met at Alnwick w1 and always had me laughing.

Val was a great person and friend. Always optimistic, always smiling despite all the difficulties she had to cope with due to having MS. She will be missed by many people but her legacy will live on in her family and friends and if I can be more like Val in the future I know I will have succeeded in life xxxxxx
