I first met Gordon in Leeds, where he & Yvonne lived around the corner from our family. One evening, being keen to me him, we sat outside his house hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Then, all of a sudden, Gordon's Dad came out & asked us if we'd like to meet him! Wow what a privilege for 2 8 year olds! I recall meeting his Mum & or course Yvonne too, who was pregnant with Hayley. I have other amazing memories of times with Gordon & I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. It was a privilege to have met your Gordon, & you will always be fondly remembered by me in the years to come. God bless & RIP.

RIP Gordon. Fond memories of your playing days at Old Trafford. You were a firm fans favourite throughout your time at United. You always had time for the fans. RED ARMY
