So sorry for your loss

I just came across this notice and had lost contact with your mum and dad after some life turmoils. They were thought about often during the times after. I treasured the friendship started on our trip to Poland together in 1992. Both your mom and dad were wonderful caring people. They referred to themselves as George and Barbara not Bush! They extended themselves to my mom and myself on a visit to Huddersfield in 1993. They had a wonderful sense of humor and on their trip to Canada in 1995 it came in handy when we met in Toronto.
Your mum was very proud of her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often in person and in letters. She was very thoughtful about the loss of my own mum in 2000.
If you get this and have the time send me a quick note to [email protected]
