KAROLINA GLUCKPolish-born Karolina Gluck was among the 52 victims of the London bombings of 7 July, 2005.The 29-year-old died in one of three explosions on the Underground during the morning rush hour. Like so many of the victims, she was heading to work on board a train bound for Russell Square when a suicide bomber set off an explosive device, killing 26 of the victims that day.Miss Gluck lived with her twin sister, Magda, in Finsbury Park, having moved to England in 2002.She worked her way up from being a receptionist to becoming a manager at Goodenough College, a private postgraduate residential college, in Mecklenburgh Square near Russell Square.She had been due to go to Paris for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, Richard Deer, when she was caught up in the terror attacks.Nicknamed "Sunshine" by her boyfriend because of her warm nature, she had spiky blonde hair and wore a St George's Cross piercing in her belly button.Four Islamic suicide bombers carried out a series of co-ordinated attacks on London’s transport system, letting off bombs on three Tube trains and a bus. Seven hundred people were also injured.
