In memory of Dr Mark Jenkins, and sincere condolences to Mark's Family, especially Emily and Megan. It was my great honour to have known Mark and enjoyed his company, and also to have been invited to direct one of his plays. He was a bright, keen mind. I never failed to enjoy myself and learn while spending time with him. Most men wish they had a twinkle in their eye, but few do. Mark always had that twinkle, a look of defiance, and challenge, and fun. His enthusiasm and passion for writing and telling stories was infectious. I admired his energy, his wide ranging knowledge, his grasp of politics, his passion and his talent. He left a worthy legacy, as seen so clearly in his writing and in his daughters. Happy St Patricks Day Mark. much love Steve
