Martin coached me a number of times at Blackridge Archery. He was a patient and kind man, so unassuming
He is sorely missed in the archery world.

I worked with Martin in the pattern shop at stelrad in the mid eighties. We were on the same shift. I remember a lad very capable of the job in hand and a good workmate and friend. He was very keen on archery and made himself a fantastic bow a remarkable achievement. I was best man at his wedding. I will remember a lovely lad. A good friend and a very capable craftsman. He was sadly taken much too soon.

I started work at Rofin Sinar in Willerby during 2001. Martin worked in the machine shop and was always helpful when it came to problem solving.
I was interested in archery, had a word with Martin and was given some free lessons.
We had chats about his Radio Controlled Aircraft activities at regular intervals until I retired in 2017. Thanks Martin.
