To the mother I hold dear
I have cried aloud and shed a tear

I will miss your laughter and your joy
I have been part of since I was a boy

The world seems darker at this time,
without you here to help it shine

although my heart screams out in pain
beautiful memories will remain

so I remember you from the past
a women with energy that would last

loving and caring
plenty of time for sharing
Time for work time for play
good advice and wise words to say

A beautiful mother and a loving wife
I am proud of what you achieved in life

So now I wipe away my tears
And reminisce in your wonderous years
