So sorry to hear you’ve passed John, I’ve tried looking you up today, after you taught me to drive I’ve decided to change my career today and want to become an instructor myself, I’ve looked up your number to have a chat and just seen this. May you rest in peace John, a truly wonderful man

John very patiently taught me to drive, but much more than that he was also a very good friend of mine. I have known John and his wife, Jean, for many years, and he and I used to drink in the Plough and the Michelin club regularly. I was very sorry to hear of his death, and would like to send my very sincere condolences to his wife, Jean

John was my very patient driving instructor 25 years ago, he waved constantly at people on every driving lesson, he always had fruit polos and and talked endlessly about his wife and Daughter, a truly lovely Man! Rest in Peace John x
