ThomasDUNLOP(GUITAR TUTOR) Peacefully passed away at Ayr Hospice on 2nd May 2021. Tom aged 67. Much loved Husband of Janet Law Crawford and closest friends Alan & family and Stewart & family. Will be much missed by all his loving family and many great friends. Many thanks to all staff in A&E, ICU and Station 1 at Ayr Hospital and also Ayr Hospice, who all took great care of Tom with kindness and great humour.

Only just learning if Tom's passing. I hadn't seen him for 20 years but he got me started on guitar and I'm now a professional full time musician. He was part of the lighting of that spark and I will be eternally grateful. Rest easy Tom, and thank you for the music x

So saddened to hear the passing of Tom Dunlop. He was not only a fantastic tutor to my daughter but had such a friendly and caring manner and always had the time to listen to my daughters Scottish Poems that she learned at school. Miss you so much and love and hugs to all his family xxx

Forever grateful for Tom showing me the ropes on the guitar. It's now 15 years since my last lesson with him and I still happily rattle through all the Fleetwood Mac tunes he taught me. Rest easy big guy. Love, Ewan Douglas
