Christina RayDOWNINGAt rest on Thursday 10th March 2022 whilst in the care of St Joseph's Convent, Stafford. Ray aged 93 years of Newcastle. The much beloved wife of the late Charles and the late John, also a dear Sister, Sister in law, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Neighbour. Ray enriched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be dearly remembered by all. Funeral service will take place at St George's Church, Newcastle on Tuesday April 5th 2022 at 11:30 prior to interment at Newcastle Cemetery. Will relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church. Family flowers or donations to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice and The British Heart Foundation. I miss you and you really were and still remain my Ray of sunshine ☀ always in my ♥
There are some people who have sun inside them. It's hard to explain. Their presence just brightens your world. It's not about beautiful smiles. They have an internal being that sheds light and feels like sun on your cool face. It's a calm energy. And inner peace. Confidence and self. But most importantly it's not wanting anything back.
