Eric AlwynDICKENPassed away peacefully at home on 2nd November 2021 aged 98. Eric will be sadly missed by his family, numerous friends near and far and all those who knew him. A service will take place at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Monday 29th November 2021 at 1.30pm. No floral tributes please by request, however if desired, donations in lieu may be given at the service to Smile Train, Marie Curie or Leprosy. All enquiries to Co-operative Funeralcare, 3-5 Southview, Littleover. Tel : 01332 332302

I still miss that laugh and still cannot believe that before Covid he was always out and about and poodled off to the theatre in Nottingham without telling anyone and didn't get home until after 10pm, we were worried. How can you admit to losing a 96 year old bless him xxx

I cannot believe it was 2 years on 2.11.23.that you left us and I still miss that laugh. Just wish you could have seen Vernon's memorial stone in Wingfield churchyard, so your last wish fulfilled. Lots of love Althea xxx
