Clifford EdgarCRAWFORDOf Melbourne died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 2nd October 2022 aged 88 years. A much loved husband to Janet, loving dad to Adrian and Guy, father-in-law to Julie-Ann and Frances and an adored Poppa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Melbourne United Reformed Church on Friday 21st October at 10.30am. Cliff was an exceptional Trade Union Representative working in the Railway workshops in Derby. A former member of the NUVB which amalgamated with the TGWU His Knowledge of asbestos assisted many families gain compensation for the dreadful disease of Asbestosis. Cliff was a pioneer in this field and continued his support well into his retirement. RIP Brother and stalwart
