Sarah, my niece, was a blessing in my life. She was sunshine, and had a delightful laugh. Gentle, feisty, standing her own ground; you knew how she thought about issues of importance. She was multi-gifted and creative; She took on challenges with considerable aplomb, including the degree in criminology she did in her 40's. It was the way she journeyed with her liver cancer. She was a welcomer and a most excellent cook and home-maker. I always enjoyed my stays with her and her family in Wales and have happy memories of walking with them on the sands near their home and in the Welsh countryside. She profoundly cherished and loved her husband David, her children, Georgina, Ben, and Hugo, and those lovely grandchildren -Charlie, Ioan, Griff, and Nedw.
I shall miss Sarah a lot, and will treasure the memories I have of her and our family connection. Those memories ensure she lives on in them for me.
