Joyce BarbaraBATESPassed away peacefully at Sandwell Hospital on 19th January 2023, aged 89. Dearly loved wife of Charles Bates. Devoted mother to Karen, Elaine, and Tracey and sons-in-law, Steve, Graham and Simon. A much loved grandmother of 7 and great grandmother to 4 boys, who will be greatly missed by all. The funeral service will be held at Perry Barr Crematorium on Friday 3rd March 2023, at 2:30pm. All are welcome. Flowers are gratefully received. Any donations kindly made will go to Alzheimer's Society.

Always smiling, my nan was the kindest and most selfless person I know. She always had time to talk about you and your interests, and was there to encourage you along the way. I'll always remember being excited to see her, knowing I'll get a fruit shoot and to talk about space for hours
