Michael ErnestBARSBYOf Church Gresley (Robin Hood Metals Ltd), passed away suddenly on Thursday 24th June 2021, at Queens Hospital Burton, aged 76 years. Beloved Husband to Doreen, much loved father of Darren, Rosie & Jo, Father-in-law to Angela, Russ & Martin & a cherished Grandad of Daniel, Jack, Leah, Maisie & Lewis. Mick will be sadly missed by all his family & friends, A funeral to celebrate Mick's life will be held at Bretby Crematorium on Thursday 15th July. Due to covid restrictions please contact the family if you wish to attend. Donations in Lieu of flowers to benefit the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. I knew Mick all of my life. He was always ready for a laugh, a real character and a great friend to my parents. I liked him greatly and will miss him. Taken too soon. R.I.P, Mick. Don’t worry… they got your gold tooth 😉 Jamie, Jodie and Joseph

I knew Mick for over 40 years he was a gentleman and a pillar of the community - no matter what though we always had laugh - he’ll be sadly missed!
