George WoodALLANSusan and Denise, George's daughters, sadly announce the passing of George on 25th April 2020, two days before his 90th birthday. George died at University Hospital North Durham shortly after testing positive for Covid-19. A private family service will take place on Friday 8th May at Durham Crematorium and the family would like you to think of happy memories of George on this day. Donations in memory of George may be made to The Great North Air Ambulance, a favourite of George & Betty.
