JoanWEEDONPeacefully whilst at home on September 15th, Joan, aged 94 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Geoff, much loved mam of Ian and Kathryn. Also a dear mother-in-law of Alyson.

Funeral service and cremation to take place on Thursday 25th September at 12noon in St Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium. Friends please meet at St Bede's Chapel and afterwards at Marton Cricket Club.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team. A collection plate will be available outside the chapel.

I remember Joan fondly helping her when she became Girl Guide leader at St. Margaret’s Church in Brookfield. Such a lovely lady who would go out of her way to help and she had a wonderful sense of humour. Condolences to Ian and Kathryn

Joan will be greatly missed by myself and family. She was a fantastic neighbour and friend. Always there to chat and to help out, when asked. Joan was such a character, with a great sense of humour and had a wealth of knowledge of many things. Definitely a one off.
