AlanSCOTTIt is with great sadness that we announce Alan Scott of Seabridge (formerly of Silverdale) peacefully passed away on 18th September 2025, aged 85, at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice with family by his side.

Alan was a devoted and loving husband to Sandra, a proud, loving and caring dad to Loraine, Marie, and Lynsey, and a treasured father-in-law to Steve, Nigel, and James. He was a dearly loved grandad to Hollie and Scott, a devoted great-grandad to Henry, and a cherished grandad-in-law to Oliver. Alan will be remembered for his kindness and humour, which touched the lives of his family and many friends. He leaves behind love, laughter, and cherished memories. Although he will be deeply missed, Alan will continue to live on in the hearts of his family.

In accordance with Alan's wishes, a private cremation will take place.

Donations to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice are gratefully welcomed, as they provided such special care not only for Alan but for his whole family.

Alans humour and friendship was ever present in my life. We laughed at times until we cried. So much fun and so many happy memories. Alan was one in a million. Rest in peace Scottie.
