Dear Charles and Cathryn, I am so sorry not to have been able to attend Rose’s funeral. I was then and am now, thinking of you at this sad time for all of us, with Mother’s passing also on the 27th April. We are also busy with her arrangements. I will remember your Mother as a very kind, generous and cheerful lady, who was very proud of you both and who undoubtedly loved you dearly. She always had a very friendly and hospitable welcome for our family, as did your Father, whenever we visited!
Take care of each other and remember the good times. Both Rose and Barbara enjoyed long lives with their loving families.

Much Love, Claire and family (aka Barbara Philippa Claire Scane/Tawse)
