JenniferPOTTEROur dearly beloved Jenny died peacefully at Nightingale House Hospice after a wonderful life, having endured a long illness with courage and grace.

Wife and loving companion of Chris; amazing mother to Lynden, Giles, Poppy and Tom; delighted grandmother of Evan, Bethan, Arthur, Frances, and Tulo; loving and supportive mother-in-law to Katie, Elsa, Bernie, and Antigoni; dear sister to Stephen, Sophie and Gig. Jenny was greatly loved by her extended family and her many, many friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday 13th August at St Collen’s church, Llangollen, followed by the committal at Pentrebychan Crematorium at 3pm. Please join us for refreshments at the Chain Bridge Hotel, Llangollen, from 4pm. Parking is somewhat limited at the Chain Bridge, so you may consider car sharing or the lovely half-hour stroll along the canal from Llangollen. All welcome.

Rather than flowers, we would appreciate any donations in Jenny’s memory to Shooting Star Cancer Support, Nightingale House Hospice, or the UNICEF Gaza Appeal.

So very sad to hear of Jenny’s passing. I first got to know Jenny in 1981 where she taught me how to make bed finials on the lathe! She was kind and patient. Then again much later on when Jenny ran the cafe in St Asaph and did a couple of delicious birthday meals for my kids when they were teenagers. Jenny was skilful in diffusing any family table squabbles! 😁 Sending love and condolences to you all ❤️
