Lynn AliceLUBY23 September 1956 - 17th August 2025 It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved Lucy, who left us peacefully on Sunday 17th of August 2025.
Amazing Wife, a devoted Mother, a loving Sister, faithful Aunty, a treasured Nana and a soon to be Great Nana. Lucy lived a life defined by love, kindness and humour. She touched the lives of everybody she met with her kind heart, gentle spirit and amazing sense of humour.
To her family, she was the heart of the home, always there with open arms ready for a cuddle and a brew. As a sister, she shared a lifelong bond of loyalty and memories. As a Mum and Nana, she was just always full of love and laughter. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed more than words can express.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on:
Friday 5th September at 2:00pm Bradwell Crematorium ST5 8L5.
All who loved her are welcome to attend. Lucy has requested for everyone to wear something red. The family kindly requests no flowers. Instead, donations in Lucy's memory can be made to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
At the family's request, there will be no wake following the service. Instead, to honour Lucy's memory, a balloon release will be held on her birthday. Tuesday 23rd September at 6:00 pm Everyone is invited to take part by releasing a balloon in Lucy's memory wherever you may be.
